Terms and conditions


1) The lessee has the obligation not to use or allow the vehicle to be used to transport people or things that are not They are of a personal nature, through re-rental or similar procedures.

  1. Nor allow its use in any speed race or sports competition, public or private.
  2. The contract will be automatically restricted when for any reason INCAR MENORCA has been given a fictitious name or an age or address that is not authentic or in contravention of applicable Laws, Regulations or Ordinances.
  3. Use of the vehicle to move or tow any vehicle or trailer is prohibited.
  4. It is also prohibited to drive any person who is not registered in the rental contract during the normal provision of the latter.

It is understood that any of the people who have just been cited must have previously obtained authorization from INCAR MENORCA and that none person, including the lessee, may use or drive the vehicle unless they are in possession of the corresponding permit of conduction. The restrictions contained in that clause apply together and are effective with respect to any use, utilization or damage that were left from the infringement of the provisions of the clause.

2) The lessee assumes full responsibility for any traffic or parking violation committed during the term of this contract. In the event that INCAR MENORCA receives a complaint for a traffic or parking violation, this company will be obliged to provide all the tenant's data to the relevant authorities.

3) It is expressly agreed that MENORCA does not assume any responsibility for loss or damage to any property left, stored or that the lessee or any other person leaves, stores or transports in the vehicle during the tenancy or after the end of the tenancy. The lessee assumes the risk of such losses or damages, exempts INCAR MENORCA from any claim for them and undertakes to keep INCAR MENORCA free and harmless from any claim that may arise for that reason.

4) INCAR MENORCA does not accept responsibility for delays that occur as a result of vehicle breakdowns or other causes. INCAR MENORCA will give you the keys with a key ring where you must put the brand, model, color and license plate of the vehicle you rent, as well as a sticker indicating the state of the fuel tank upon delivery. Your obligation is to return the deposit exactly as it was when the vehicle was delivered or pay the difference at the office. The money will never be returned in the case of putting more than what was there at the time of collection. INCAR MENORCA has the obligation to deliver the vehicle in optimal hygiene conditions, you also have this obligation. You will be charged 20 Euros in the case of returning the vehicle in poor condition as well as with excessive beach sand, vomit, stuck candies, alcohol spilled on the seats, burns on the upholstery, etc...

5) The vehicle, object of the contract, has been covered by an insurance policy called "unlimited" Civil and Criminal Liability against third parties, since the Lessee is insured by virtue of said policy, he is obliged to comply with all the terms and conditions of the same. In order to comply with the provisions of said policy, the lessee agrees to immediately report any accident to the insurance company or to INCAR MENORCA.
IMPORTANT: The following notes are totally excluded from the insurance.

  1. Breaking or scratching of rims and/or tire covers due to misuse of the vehicle is excluded.
  2. The breakage and/or loss of keys is also excluded.

The lessee must take into account that the above points will be at his expense if they occur. In case of incurring in one of these exclusions, a franchise of 300 Euros will be taken to cover the expenses.

6) For any difference that may arise in relation to this contract, the parties will expressly submit to the Judges and Courts of Mahón, renouncing any other outside that could correspond to them. INFORMATION FOR YOUR INTEREST:

  1. Mr. Tenant, for your safety you must take into account that on the island the maximum speed is 90 km/h.
  2. You have to know that there is a fixed radar at the height of ES MERCADAL, and that the speed is limited to 50 km/h., the fines amount from 900 to 1200 Euros that will be borne by the driver.
  3. When parking in Ciutadella there are 3 zones:
    WHITE ZONE: Public parking
    BLUE ZONE: paid parking
    GREEN ZONE: Parking for Ciutadella residents
